Graphic Illustration Book: LOST IN BRISTOL
A series of narrative illustration try to introduce the city of Bristol by visualizing a relationship between a human and an animal(a stray dog/mongrel). I am trying to express my deep impressions of the city through my personal observations, experiences and explorations. I focused on exploring the areas of culture, people, lifestyle and events that reflect the authentic lifestyle in Bristol. The story begins the moment I land at Bristol airport and happen to meet a dog there. The dog‘s character will be portrayed as my ‘FOC* tour guide’. As the story develops, the relationship and interaction between the characters will get closer and better. In a similar way, the impressions and feelings regarding the city become deeper and more vivid. I am leaving the story open-ended, which means that there’s ‘LOTS’ more waiting to be explored and discovered in this lovely city-Bristol.
